3 Orange Gardens, Cyprus

These two apartments are modern and well equipped and sleep four in a double and a twin bedroom. There is a pool within the apartment complex for the use of residents and guests. They are located just 4 minutes walk from the sea and a main shopping street crammed with bars and restaurants. The apartments are ideally located for everything the area has to offer but are also tucked away in a quiet side street. The beautiful Troodos mountains are just an hours drive away and provide a welcome retreat from the scorching heat in the summer months. Skiing (yes, in Cyprus!) is generally available from January through to early April. Limassol is about one hours drive from either Paphos or Larnaca airports. Hire cars are cheap and plentiful in Cyprus and of course they drive on the left just like at home!

The Locality

Limassol is situated in the south of the island, it is a maritime area and also the second biggest town of the country. There is a lot to see in Limassol, places of interest include the Berengaria Castle, the place where Richard the Lionheart married Berengaria, Kolossi Castle, the ancient city of Curium and its still functionning theatre, amathunta and many other archeological spots scattered around the city. If it is night life you are looking for, check out nearby Yermasogea, the tourist area of Limassol, where both locals and tourists meet in the vibrant clubs and bars. The old city centre is a fascinating area to take a stroll through. A walk will lead the visitor to a vibrant community full of shop owners crafts people, artists of all disciplines and businessmen. Because the city is relatively untouched by the streams of tourism, it has been able to maintain the traditions of Cypriot life: meze restaurants, wine and beer cellars, places to sit outside and just watch people passing by. Limassol is know for its famous wine festivals held in August.
